Ben FranklinĄ¯s Birthday Bash in Beijing

On Saturday, January 16, a birthday bash was held to celebrate Ben FranklinĄ¯s 304th birthday. About 30 people showed up to celebrate the evening with a fun game of quizzo, prizes and great food. Young Ben Franklin was on hand to give out (fake) 100 dollar bills to guests and lead the quizzo game. See pictures from the event below.

We raised an additional 420 rmb to purchase books for the Dongba SchoolĄ¯s new library. Books were donated on our first Day of Service in Beijing Monday, January 18. (See Past Events for more about our visit.)
